Vehicle Mechanic

40 Hours - Monday to Friday, hours between 7:00 am – 5.00 pm plus overtime when available

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mechanic to join our team! If you’re someone who takes pride in your work and thrives in a hands-on role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will be working within a small, supportive team, helping to manage and maintain our fleet of vehicles. This includes Isuzu, DAF, and Volvo trucks ranging from 7.5T to 26T, as well as vans & Linde/Toyota forklifts. Your contribution will be key in ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding service across East Anglia. A car driving licence is essential. An HGV licence is preferred but not essential - training would be provided.

Responsibilities

Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations
Performing brake, engine, transmission, and electrical repairs.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a Mechanic
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail.
